The new service will be provided at the Chamber Offices at 6658 Church Street, Douglasville, GA 30314. The counseling services, which uses interactive audio and video, is provided without charge.

To set up an appointment for counseling, clients can call the Douglas County Chamber of Commerce at 770-942-5022, or visit the SCORE Atlanta web site, www.scoreatlanta.org .  Directions on the web site will be under “Counseling.”

The new video counseling will provide entrepreneurs with existing businesses or startups with the ability to tap into the expertise of the 70 counselors at the Atlanta SCORE Chapter and other resources available through the national SCORE system as well as the U.S. Small Business Administration.   These resources include online articles, business plan, other formats, as well as small business workshops.  

SCORE hopes to expand its services to on site personal counseling in the future. SCORE is looking for volunteers with business experience who have the time and the desire to impart their experience and expertise to entrepreneurs, remain active and use their experience, and give back to the community.   If you are interested, please contact SCORE at www.scoreatlanta.org
