| SBA and Sam’s Club to Cosponsor Veterans Small Business Matchmaking Conferences |

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Veteran-owned small businesses from all over the U.S. are registering and headed for San Antonio, Texas, for the first Veterans Small Business Matchmaking Conference cosponsored by the U.S. Small Business Administration and Sam’s Club. The October 29 conference will educate veterans about federal contracting through a workshop and seminar and bring veteran small business owners together with private and government procurement officials for matchmaking. San Antonio is First in the Series for FY 2008. SBA and Sam’s Club have agreed to cosponsor several veterans business matchmaking conferences during FY 2008. The next event, November 9, will be in Sacramento, Calif.
